Arsenal XI vs Tottenham: Lineup, confirmed team news, injury latest for north London derby

It means Arteta should be able to rest players for next week’s second leg and, as a result, he may be tempted to name an unchanged side against Tottenham this afternoon.

There are some players, however, who are pushing hard to start. Nicolas Pepe could come in out wide, although Willian has been in good form lately.

Right-back Cedric Soares and centre-back Pablo Mari are also contenders to play if Arteta does opt to shake things up in defence.

The Spaniard does, at least, have a near fully-fit squad to pick from given Emile Smith Rowe is now back in action after a hip issue, having come off the bench in Greece.

Arsenal predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Leno; Bellerin, Luiz, Gabriel, Tierney; Partey, Xhaka; Saka, Odegaard, Willian; Aubameyang.

    Sunday 4.30pm GMT, Sky Sports

Arsenal squad from: Leno, Runarsson, Ryan; Bellerin, Cedric, Chambers, Gabriel, Holding, Luiz, Mari, Tierney; Ceballos, Elneny, Odegaard, Partey, Saka, Smith Rowe, Xhaka; Aubameyang, Balogun, Lacazette, Martinelli, Nelson, Nketiah, Pepe and Willian.
