“Everybody was fine after the game [against Olympiacos], we will assess them this morning,” said Mikel Arteta on Friday morning.
“Regarding [Bukayo Saka], in the next two days, we will know if he is available to play against West Ham and after that we will make the decision on what to do.”
Fellow forward Willian is also a doubt for Sunday’s clash with West Ham after missing Thursday’s defeat to Olympiacos with a calf issue.
In their absence, Emile Smith Rowe and Nicolas Pepe are primed to start – but Gabriel Martinelli is pushing to be involved too.
Martin Odegaard and Thomas Partey should return to the starting line-up after being rested in midweek, while there is likely to be changes in defence too.
Cedric Soares is hoping to start at right-back, while Pablo Mari and Rob Holding could come into the middle of the defence to provide David Luiz with a rest.
Arsenal predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Leno; Cedric, Holding, Mari, Tierney; Partey, Xhaka; Pepe, Odegaard, Smith Rowe; Aubameyang
