Chelsea are second only to champions-elect Manchester City in the form table since the German replaced Frank Lampard, helped in large part but a robust defence.
Thiago Silva remains missing, however, though Marcos Alonso and Andreas Christensen’s returns to prominence have been one of the more interesting aspects of the new Tuchel era.
Leeds, on the other hand, appear to have lost some of their entertaining charm as they have fallen to five defeats in their last six games, including insipid performances against Wolves, Aston Villa and West Ham.
But Marcelo Bielsa is a match for most, so you would be unwise to rule out a Leeds surprise. An intriguing match at Elland Road awaits.

Praise for Marcelo Bielsa’s side has subsided somewhat with just three wins in 2021, though still possess fine forward talent in Patrick Bamford, against his former club, and Raphina.
Their opponents, meanwhile, have only improved in the same period and looking to make it 12 games unbeaten under Thomas Tuchel. There should be goals for both but only points for Chelsea.
For Leeds, Pascal Struijk, Jamie Shackleton and Pablo Hernandez will hope to overcome their fitness issues, while Robin Koch is due back in training.
Leeds predicted XI (4-5-1): Meslier; Ayling, Llorente, Cooper, Dallas; Harrison, Klich, Phillips, Rodrigo, Raphinha; Bamford
Thomas Tuchel is concerned by Tammy Abraham’s ongoing injury struggles after ruling the striker out of today’s game.
Thiago Silva will also miss the clash following a setback in his recovery from a thigh problem.
Chelsea predicted XI (3-4-2-1): Mendy; Azpilicueta, Christensen, Rudiger; James, Jorginho, Kante, Chilwell; Mount, Werner; Havertz
